A proper installation, not just
a box on the wall
A safe EV charger installation is about far more than mounting the unit. We assess your consumer unit and incoming supply, run a dedicated protected circuit, position the charge point for easy cable reach, and test and certify the whole installation. Done right the first time, it’s a fit-and-forget upgrade.
We install all major charger types
- 7kW single-phase home chargers (the standard for most homes)
- Tethered and untethered units
- Smart chargers with app control and scheduling
- Weatherproof outdoor and driveway installations
OZEV Registered - Grants and support
We’re OZEV registered, so if you qualify for government support towards your home charge point, we can factor it into your quote. Government supports charge points changes over time and eligibility varies. Before you buy, it’s worth checking the current Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme guidance on GOV.UK to see whether you qualify. We’ll factor any applicable support into your quote.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an EV charger installation take?
A standard home installation usually takes 3–4 hours. More complex jobs — long cable runs or a consumer unit upgrade — can take longer, and we’ll confirm this in your quote before starting.
Can I get an EV charger if I don't have a driveway?
Off-street parking is normally needed for a home charge point. If your parking arrangement is unusual, get in touch and we’ll advise on what’s possible for your property.
Is the installation certified?
Yes. Every EV charger installation is carried out to current wiring regulations and fully certified — important for safety, insurance and warranty.
Do I need to notify my electricity Network?
No – we take care of that for you. After installation we notify your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) as required, so your charge point is fully compliant with connection rules.
